HUGE ENGINE PROBLEM!!!!!

Hey people, im working on my ka24e 240sx 89, im having a problem with the motor though. When i drive it will work good for a bit, but then it will lose what seems to be compression or something like that and the engine will just die. It almost seems like im out of gas but ive got a full tank and i know the fuel injectors are fine because it will work good for the first bit. I need to know what could be wrong with it please shoot ideas. No engine problem lights come on.Please help.

It doesnt make it an engine problem you know bad crank sensor can cause the same problem and if it looses cam signal it could die at random times ive seen these problems exist and causing the same issues your experiencing with no codes at all.

i've seen fuel pumps in 240s do the same thing.

I had the same problem. check fuel pressure

where to start...

check the maf plug to see if its loose...this will couse a engine to run erraticly..

then test your coil..if that putters in and out..it will kill your car dead..

then test your fuel pump..for what ya described..thats all i can think of..unless you provide more info..good luck

check the fuel pump pressure. I had a simular problem. once my car warmed up it would feel like it had no power at all.
