So finally got my 300! now that ive worked out the misfire this thing is an absolute dream to drive and has some rediculous acceleration.. But i still have one major problem before its good to go, the car seems to drive great, i havent noticed any over heating problems, but after i get the engine nice and hot after some good run time, as soon as i park it, it starts loosing coolant everywhere and its steaming up somewhere causing big white clouds under my hood like i just blew a radiator cap, i cant see down this super cramped engine where its at exactly, but its definatly on the drivers side, like right in the middle of the block, i just cant tell how deep its coming from.. Going to try and pressurize the system tomorrow and see if i can hear it, but anyone have any ideas where it could be coming from, or where i should try and check? Gonna do some more research thanks!

The only coolant passage near the middle of the drivers side would be for the turbo if your car is a TT, even then it's just banjo bolts the soft lines are back by the firewall. Turbo or not there are a mile of coolant pipes and soft lines running under the plenum on both sides leading to the plenum itself as well as the TB's. Ultimately you are on the right track, pressurise the system and find the leak.

Ok ya thats what i was thinking, was that it was from the turbo, cuz that seems to be right where its coming from, my car isnt over heating, but coolant dripping on the turbo would sure make it steam up pretty good, i was more asking to see if there were suspect areas to look for.. Will try and find that tonight, and flush all new fluids through the whole car.. Also my big radiator shroud is missing, the big black plastic piece that goes from the back of the radiator to over the radiator fan to direct the air, how needed is this piece, weathwt is pretty good right now, but when hot summer hits i think i might need it

If the car has not done the TB coolant bypass hoses, then there is a rubber hose that connects two coolant hard lines(follow the oil dip stick tube down and behind the turbo compressor outlet)

See link here: near the bottom of the page (second last picture)

Ya, i cant figure out how to post pictures but i fkund it last night, which was the lngest part sure enough, it was what you mentioned, there i like a 1 inch piece of hose connecting two hard coolant lines directly above the turbo, took almost 6 hours to replace!! That was a very hard spot to get to! But no more leakibg! And im holding temps good! Now to find that exhaust leak...
