HUD to Analog gauge cluster????

I know there is already a topic on this but i cant find it i was wondering if i got a analog gauge cluster would it plug right in and work with no or minor modifications because my HUD doens't work ne more or if u guys know how to fix a HUD cluster that would help too..... THANKS

If you know how to soilder and can identify cold solder joints and/or burnt traces on the circuit boards you can fix what you got. If you want to go analog I believe you have to get the sub harnesses plugged into the back of the cluster.

Do they sell sub harnesses? or do they come with the Analog one??

if you go to a wrecking yard you can typically buy the subharness. I suspect the dealer would sell it to ya but it would be pricie.

so the sub harness is the one that comes with the analog cluster?? cause there one at a junkyard near by and they want 50$ for the whole thing

if there is any wiring attached to the back of the cluster that is the subharness you need.

Getting the subharness.... is there any cutting of wires involved... ?
