HUD to Analog conversion

I have a HUD that is starting to show signs of the cooler weather messing with it since in the mornings it seems to act erratically. Now, I have an analog gauge cluster for a single slammer that I can swap in, but upon taking it apart the other day, the plugs didnt match. So, what do I need to do to swap it out?

problem solved lol. well i dont want to post a new thread and i have searched. and i know that 94_240sx knows his stuff. soooo i can get an s13 hud for cheap and i was wondering if i could adapt it to my s14? sorry for steeling the spotlight lol

I don't think it's going to be easy. Google 'S14 HUD-Need Help (LARGE Pics)' and click on first link. The guy had JDM s14 digital cluster, but not sure if he made it work not.

see i knew you would have some useful info lol. i actually did more searching on google the other day and found an s14 one for sale. im going to pick it up and see what i can do with it. i can always resell it i guess...

Have you seen JDM s14 analog cluster with head-up display connected? It's OEM part and that might be plug and play. You have to make a hole on your dash though. Good luck.

ya where in the middle of the cluster is a +/- for the hud display. i have pictures of them but havent found any for sale. but i found the s14 hud. maybe there is a way i can make it work. do you know if it just needs a basic speedo signal power ground? i know it has about 10 wires going into it. and i heard there is a check engine light on it. so im sure it sees that signal as well as a few others. cutting the hole is no big deal. im making my car right hand drive so if i cant make a hole in my dash to accept the hud then i have a huge problem on my hands lol. thanks for you help
