HUD speedometer in a 1989

I was wonderin if any body has ever changed the color of the HUD? I just dont really like the green and was looking for a blue-navy or a red. I would like to get some advice before i rip it apart. Thanks

No Idea if they are special bulbs or not. I know they are green for a reason though. They offer cool or neutral light or something. So its easier on the eyes lol. You might as well rip it apart and check out the bulb style.

It doesnt or didnt take anytime to warm up. but the HUD craped out and i took this oppertunity to take a real close look at it and compleletly dismatel it.

It looks like the changing color thing isnt possible... dam.
