hud speedo?

89 coupe. speedo doesn't show. no illumination from gauges when turning head lights on. and odometer doesn't read. is this a common problem/fix. everything is plugged in and fuses are good. tach reads, as well as warning lights. Any help would be appreciated.

the capacitor in the cluster is dead most likely

did it fix it? i was under the impression the capacitor was only to fix the display, and since the odo isnt working, itd be a different problem, same problem im having... maybe a connector?

there f*cking hard to fix i still have mine but i swapped for analog guages there better i think
