In my 1993 240 coupe all of my gauges / HUD will randomly turn off, then turn back on. I don't know if a ground could be loose or what, any ideas?

You betcha. Welcome to the "DAMN IT, MY SPEEDO DOESN'T WORK!" club.

Don't worry, everything will be fine, you're in the right place. First thing you need to do though, is search. It's not a loose ground, or anything like that, but most likely faulty soldering on the rear of the Speedo unit.

But more details come with the little red button.

The soldering points in the HUD control unit expand and contract over the years making the connections weak to say the least. It costs about $200 to get it fixed. That is why I bought a JDM cluster instead;)
