Hud problems, wiring ?'s

I have an 89 240sx with hud(i know, i know) does any one know the wiring for it? It keeps coming on with low volts(low batt, or car not started) then shuts off never to be seen again; I think its the wiring, maybe the ground. any ways anyone got any ideas for me to check, which might be the ground.ThanksMike
