HUD Odometer not rolling after replacement

replaced the HUD on this vehicle with one form a 1996 since the speedo kept fluctuating even after replacing the speed sensor. Only problem is that the Odometer does not roll at all and the mile meter (sorry ) rolls .2 miles after 30 miles of driving. Please help me make them move. The odometer moved fine in the previous unit. I put the old unit in just to make sure it wasnt the spped sensor but it rolled over. Please help thanks!

First, I'm willing to bet your S14 doesn't have a HUD. HUD is heads up display, where it actually projects the speed onto the windshield. This was only an option on the S13 coupes.

Second, if your current speedometer is working, you should swap the actual mileage assemblies from your old gauge cluster into your current one. That should resolve the problem.

Your right I should have said gauges sorry. Do you mean the whole assebmly with the speed face or just the the odometer itself.

You can just replace just the odometer and trip odometers.
