Oh, I sure hope they can tell you how to fix this... for I have the same problem, except only with my dash lights (my speedo died a few months ago)

rheostat for the dash lights is kicking the bucket? I dont have a lot of expierence in dealing HUD's as not many cars roll into my shop with them. Rare option. I have a HUD unit that works good. I wold check behind the gauge cluster and see if any wire harnesses have rubbed thru as well.

I have a 1995 nissan truck. I have encountered problems with the lighting. First it was the tail lights. When my headlights are on the rear running lights would not come on, also the dash lights wouldnt come on. When driving down the road the would all of a suddon come on. I was told that it was the turn indicator switch. I replaced the switch and it didnt fix it. Now on my passenger side headlight the low beam will not work. I tried a new light and also tried switching the driverside light over to passenger side, and it did not fix this problem. Any sugestions is thanked.i know there was a recall a few years ago for this situation minus the head light problem and the tail lights never came on upon driving, but when i call nissan they said there is not a recall on it, its on your own to fix it.
