HUD is not working, can I replace it with a normal speedometer?

i have a hud speedometer and it's not working, i was wondering if the wiring harness will hook up to a regular speedometer(no hud)..

also, it's really weird because sometimes the odometer will turn on with the lights and the miles will go, but not the speed....but that's rare...could it be fixable so the speedometer works?

hear this is a common problem.

pretty sure you can use your harness on an analog speedometer.

No it will not, You need the analog cluster harness to use it.

what do u mean? what im thinking is that the whole thing just unplugs, and then just replace it with the analog that will just plug right in, or what do i have to modify? im f-ckin confused man

to switch from digital to analog you need BOTH the analog cluster and harness. you need to unplug the digital harness and replace with the analog harness. it will be a direct plug and play to swap.

what year is your car,,,is it SOHC or DOHC?
