the speedo in the hud i got from my junkyard donor car (which is the exact model i couldnt find when i was looking..) is dead, im guessing one of the boards is dead. ive got it out and just have the cluster in it without the speedo or illumination (since its run from the hud unit). i need to get it replaced or rebuilt, and i need to do it quickly, so, my question is, where should i go to get this done? and should i get a new one or get mine rebuilt? i doubt ill find another one in a junkyard car, as it took me a while to find this one.

thanks, tim

So you want the HUD display? I had it and opted to just go for the stock gauges but since I see you have a hatch then you must want it. You might be able to solder it and make it work. Thats a common problem. This did not work for my application. I think there is a thread on how to do it lurking around somewhere. Found this address in another thread. Guy said they were quick about it and other person said 195 dollars to get it done. http://www.instrumentcluster.com/

Nice, they're in richmond. Close (well driving distance) to me. It'll probably be helpful when I get my HUD.
