HUD has illumination but stays at ZERO. need help!

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I have a 1989 240sx sr20det recently swaped....HUD worked in the begining, then while i was driving it stayed at ZERO. Both HUD and cluster has illumination. I have no clue what to do. Could this be a blown fuse?

Doubtful. It sounds like there's a problem between the speed sensor and the unit. Maybe do some digging around for people who have swapped in an SR and kept the HUD.
