HUD display problem.

I know i own a rsx but i worked on my cousin's 240. The motor starts fine. It runs fine. But the digital speedometer doesn't work. It worked before we yanked the KA. When we installed the sr20, it doesn't show. I've checked the diagrams and everything seems in order. I still have to check the speed cable, but does that cause the digital display not to light up? Any info and help would be great. Thanks!

i have the hud thing that connects to the gauge cluster if u want, were any of the parts jarred during the swap? check all fuses and connections
