So, I pulled my cluster, and installed a new digital speedo unit. All wires in the dash "look" ok, but I have no clue what I am looking for/at. Any one have any suggestions??? Also, odometer and trip meter do not work. All dash lights, tach, cluster lights work. I'm baffeled!

Ok, I am having my buddy who is an electrical engineering major do this, so mabye be a bit more descripitve so I can better tell him what to solder;) ie: Which board? All 3? Any specific sports to focus on? He looked at it and he said that there was nothing that looked awry to him...

well I had the same problem and I also piulled the guages. Luckily my guages are now working and my solder points arent all the way destroyed. Mine cut in and out. The points which conbtrol the speedo are the two connected to the raised panel behind the speedo itself. The top one sends the signal to the hud the bottom one is where the cluster gets its information. If you unscrew the speedo from the front, on theback of the circuit board connected to where the bottom harness plkugs in those connections are the problem, Just have your friend resolder those points
