hud / digital gauge ?????????????????

ok first off i did the swap from analog to digital on my 92 240. ok sooo the digital gauge woulnt work when i first start the car it comes on then fades out.......wtf why is this happening??? does any 1 know how to fix it??? also the swap should be plug-n-play right no special mods needed to make it work right???? and yes i do have a harness. thanks for your help-joe

There's a reason why most people convert from digital -> analog and not the other way around: most digital hud on the 240's don't last very long.

I would suggest doing a search - sorry but there are MANY things that can be wrong w/ the digital cluster, from the cluster to the module to the harness to some other things. It has also been discuessed many times. Most of the time it's just the module if it fades in and out.

If you are dead set on a digital cluster, you can try to get it rebuilt (search again) - or you can get one that just displays in kmh (I have one for you that is just km/h ).
