is it true that 15" caps from a sentra will fit 15" wheels from a versa s? I want screw on caps bad. Will I need additional materials besides lugnuts? Will any 15" cap with 4 holes fit the versa wheel? Thanks!

Sentra bolt-on caps should work. Just ask if the lug pattern is the same which I'm sure it is. Not ANY 4 lug bolt-on cap would work though because not all 4-lug cars have the same lug pattern. Notice on some cars like older Civics, the 4 lugs are closer together than they would be on a Versa. That's the lug pattern being different.

The wheel width and offset could also determinnewhether the Sentra hubcap would work.

I just got my Versa back from an oil change and tire rotation. My ride now sounds like a "wagon train" coming down the road.

Obviously, the mechanic didn't know how to put the hubcaps back on correctly. They aren't flush in spots, etc. I'm taking it back today and see what they can do. I wish you could just buy some covers for the center hubs.

Make the dealer remove each hubcap and show you the lugs on the back side. I had the same experience early this year including the noisy caps. It turns out the serviceman probably broke one of the lugs re-installing the caps. I didn't check and one cap soon was thrown off. See Tech. Service Bulletin NTB07-038 for a description of causes of noisy caps. It shows what to look for and how to re-install these caps correctly. In addition, it provides a mechanism for filing a claim for damaged caps. Bet the dealership won't mention the TSB when you visit. In my case the cap stayed on long enough to enable the dealer to claim he wouldn't be responsible.

Good luck and don't wait to follow up.

Well, just got home from the dealer. My Service Writer called in the Service Manager and had me tell them about my last oil change (oil all over engine, hand prints on the hood) and tire rotation (three out of four hubcaps not seated). They replaced all three hubcaps and didn't charge me for the oil change! I also told the Service Manager that Nissan has a problem with the hubcaps and based on the Technical Service Bulletin it was apparent that they not only removed the hubcaps incorrectly but also broke them further by forcing them back on. Anyway - I feel they did the right thing and am happy again.
