HU kit for I35??

Ok, I'm wanting to install an aftermarket head unit in my '03 I35 and I cannot find a kit for it. I've heard that the one for the Max WILL work, but, it isn't quite the right width. Has anyone seen or have pics of this??

Nobody makes a I35 HU kit the last I looked. The closest is the Maxima kit, but you will have gaps. If you are good with bondo and such, you can take the Maxima kit and use filler to message it to fit better, then paint it to match.

Ok, been looking around and it looks to me like the Bose headunit in the I35 and the Max are identical. How is it possible that the kit for the Max isn't wide enough for the I35?? The dash looks the same from what I can see in the pictures that I've seen, the climate control is even the same.
