The new NSX is to be released for purchase this summer: https://www.youtube.com/user/Acura

Mid 150k starting price ... new twin-turbo V-6, plus three more electric motors ... etc.

Impressive.

I like it overall and It looks downright sexy from certain angles. I think Nissan might have to finally get off their lazy tushes and do more than adding body cladding, NISMO decals and jacking the MSRP of an aging GT-R to compete.

Yeah! The looks are quite nice indeed, IMHO. I almost bought the older generation NSX at one time, but didn't <sigh>. I still like that older design looks too ... it is not dated at all. The Honda / Acura design team did a good job then and this time too.

I'm glad to see companies breaking out of the "focus group" markets and doing cool s*** to make themselves relevant again.

I forgot to mention that I think the looks of the first-gen NSX and the 1991 Nissan 300ZX are, to me, quite timeless. They both still look beautiful in the face of many new designs. :yesnod

My current 2003 M45 also has a somewhat old feel - like a sedan from the 70's - and also instantly recognizable on the road from quite far away.

Sets my M apart from the upside-down soap dish look that is so common now. Can't tell cars for what they are from a distance.
