Ok so I have 1992 240sx with the DOH KA engine in it and I just put a performance intake kit on it. No biggy. Although when I put the kit together (this included finding a MAF adapter) and put the air filter on the engine will start to die as if the MAF is very sensitive. I took the filter back off and the engine will run fine. I put my hand with in about three in. away from the MAF and it starts to bog down. I'm thinking the MAF ADAPTER is too small because it seems like it's in the way of the sensor port in the MAF. What do you guys think and do you think I could find a bigger adapter for the MAF?

oh and also it has been showing the MAF code on the ECU as well. But is the MAF usually that sensitive?
