I am trying to decide on a turbo upgrade and I think something along the lines of an upgraded t28 is exactly what I am looking for. After searching I found the Heavy Throttle T3/T25 kit but there is nothing on their website about it. Here is an idea of the setup I was thinking:

stock internalswalbro 255 - currently installedFMI either hks-s or blitzHKS ssq or Greddy type-s BOV550 injectorsz32 mafACT street/stripeither JWT ECU or S-AFCGreddy profec-b3'' cat-back- currently 2.5'' installed w/ testpipe

Should I get the upgraded t28 from sr20detperformance and tune with S-AFC or would the T3/T25 kit from HT with a JWT ECU from them be better? (However I dont want a discussion of jwt vs. safc, of course in the pics from HT they are sunning s-afc with jwt ecu)

Does anyone know if Heavt Throttle is selling the T3/T25 kit and if so what does it cost? Heavy Throttle

no idea but i have heard mixed reactions of the big 28. Some people are running great with them and others say it is too inefficient. Why would you be going the way of a kit? don't forget that there are some awesome turbos that also fit the stock manifold. and btw i will also be running a S-AFC , and hopefully have it tuned on the dyno.

The only thing that makes the T3/T25 a kit is that it comes with 550 injectors and a tuned ecu. I figured buying something with a jwt tuned for me would just save me some trouble of picking something like a HKS one then having a JWT ECU made. Of course this "kit" was just something I read in a post here. I am trying to find out more info.

Hey. vwluv. I just recently purchased the stage I kit from HT. It has the big t28, jwt ecu, z32maf, denso 550's, apex'i intake, and all the hardware for 2300. Not too bad considering the denso's are 400 bux a piece. I also ordered a blitz fmic, blitz bov, and i'm probably getting a blitz boost controller from them too.

I'll let you know how i like the big 28 and how it performs with my set up. I'm having some problems with the injectors not fitting right in my fuel rail right now. I don't think my fuel rail is the original. So i sent it to HT so they can take a look see at it.

Denso 550cc injectors 400 bucks a peice? no, no way...2300 seems a bit high when I can build a T3/T4oe set for 1900 including turbo hard lines, injecotrs (740) SAFC, (Yes there is a way to make it work) Exaust mani and exteral wastegate, oh and a headgasket.

There is nothing on Heavy Throttle's site about their kits. So they carry a Big-28 kit and a T3/T25 kit?

I think that HT has the "Big28" in the kit. A T3/T25 is pretty much what the Big28 is.

So I imagine that they only have one kit and they can't call it a Big28 because that's Forced Performance's name for the turbo...just a guess though.

Yeah. they don't have the kit posted on the internet. But they call it the Stage I kit. Just call and ask Jeff about it. But it is the Big 28 from FP, JWT ecu, denso 550's, z32 maf, an addapter from maf to intake of turbo pipe, apex'i air filter, new exhaust mani. gasket, and all the other gaskets too. for 2300. You really can't buy all that stuff seperate for that price. If you do it would probably match it.

Ok that's what I wasn't sure about...I didn't know if they used the actual one from forced performance or if they had their own "generic" version.

I think Jeff said they would have a stage II kit late august or something. It would be with a bb turbo and be about 1g more.
