HSLD or similar wih better performance for SE-R Spec V 07+

I wanted to know if there was an HSLD or LSD that would do the similar if not better performance job then the stock HLSD? My friend needs one for his 08 SE-R Spec V and Nissan has them on backorder all across the US since they sent them to Japan for production on new cars. It's the same part and part number from the 07-09 SE-R Spec V. He's been trying used car parts shops and junk yards and no luck. Does anyone know a place were he could buy a OEM one new or used and even an aftermarket one the does the similar if not better performance job then the stock HLSD? Any help is thankful .

I asked him already about a part number and he confirmed it for me. But you just gave me an idea. Since the HLSD's in the US were sent to Japan for production on new cars I could tell my friend to buy one from Canada and have it shipped to him. I can't put it on my Altima Coupe because I have a CVT. BUT IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE HE COULD GET ONE IN THE US PLEASE LET ME KNOW. It can be new or used from a car that's being parted out and a junk yard. Thank you guys in advanced.

Honestly it sounds like you've covered every obvious avenue. Maybe someone's selling parts on Ebay?

Thanks for your reply dude. He and I have been keeping a very close eye on ebay and no luck. We've found SE-R Spec V trannies, but they are all from earlier years.
