I just installed my hotshot header this past weekend. It is something I never want to do again. The AIV connection wouldn't come out so I took a hacksaw to it. The Original Manifold wouldn't slide out, I had to take the two parts apart, it took me about 3 hours to install it. But I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to plug the AIV temporarily until I can get it to a shop to get a plug welded in. I prob will not be able to make it to a shop for a few days.If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Can you screw the piece of tubing out of the manifold now that you have it removed from the car? If so cut the tubing to within a couple of inches from the nut. Now just flatten the tubing on the end and fold it over and flatten again. Shouldn't leak now. You can probably go to a fastener supply and buy a set screw, a short bolt to screw in, or even a screw in tubing plug. Sorry I can't remember the size off the top of my head.Good Luck.
