Just wondering if anyone has upgraded their therm. or if there is a cheaper replacement that will do the job of the nismo on.

A better question is will this help much running pretty much stock over all or if I boost my Max then and only then its a good idea/worth it??

It's a waste of money. It is true that your car will make more power when it's cold but the ECU is programed for the engine to be at about 195f. If you drop that down to 185 or whatever the NISMO one is you end up with a car thats running rich and wasting gas because the 10 degree cooler coolant doesn't mean that the cylinders are 10 degrees cooler.

Ok then. Good to know.

I was skeptical but figured I would get some facts from here.

Thanks!!
