does anyone know if its possible to swap the hr engine into the 04 z?OR can you could swap the head manifold and intakes from the hr with the o4 heads and all that. i know that the rods are different to so i kinda figure that just swaping the rods with perf rods and cosworth manifold would probley be smarter. im looking to get the hks gt supercharger... does anyone know if that would work efficiently with the cosworth manifold?

just a thought

I am sure it's possible but might not be worth it, to get full use of the HR you'd want the full dressed engine, twin intakes, ecu and all, and you're still looking at about a 30 hp increase, of you couod buy a SC and bolt on over 100hp in less time with less effort and less drama

It wouldn't be worth the money. Besides what evildky said you need the hood because it uses a different hood. The cost of the engine plus install and paint would be more than working on the non HR motor. If you want the the dual throttle bodies and manifolr here's one for the VQ35.http://www.speedforceracing.co...i.php

The money would be better spent on a turbo.
