okay so i was thinking about trading in my hr z for either a sti or evo.so i go and test drive them both today..wow was i suprised when i drove the sti and evo they are alot ALOT slower then my Zand i was suprised i also didnt like how they took turns and i just think the grip of awd isnt as fun as RWD. but the end result i decided to keep my 350z because it looks better , and is faster.just thought id sharei no those cars mod better but stock vs stock the HR Z takes it all the way.

Hmm? That evo must have had some boost leaks or something then. I have an evo and I will tell you it is definitely way faster than my z, granted I don't have the HR model. It really depends what conditions you are driving the cars in though. An evo will be faster from 0-100, but the 350z will be faster than the evo 100+ because of the evo's shorter gearing. I'd say the handling stock for stock is pretty similar, however I don't know what mods you have done to your z so that can change things a bit. I will agree with you that the z prettier to look at though .

I really dislike Evos, glad you kept your Z man.No offense to Evo drivers on the board, but all the ones I've met and raced are all cocky and full of themselves, just cause they drive a evo.

I'd rather have a vr-4 than an evo. Those cars are such beasts.

It all depends where.... the Z has its strengths the Evo and STi has their own strengths.

I would have to agree with you on that one. Even with my boost issues limiting me to 17psi max, my vr-4 pulls quite a bit harder than the evo.
