HPI product in SCC??

I got the newest SCC (Oct '03), and read the article on Brenden Walkers drift 240.

I noticed that he had an item on the engine by HPI that was an "engine-torque dampener". Does anybody know if this thing works very well? Im just wondering if this might be an alternative to motor mounts. I know that he had this on his SR20, but would it work on the KA as well?

Also, where could someone aquire this item? Ive tried to access HPI's website, but I cant get it to come up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have the last SCC, check the pic of the CA18DET in the engine swap guide, it has a engine torque damper. I think a lot of companies make something like that.

How much power are you going to make? any track comps or drifting comps?

No this is not an alternative to motor mounts, lol Do you mean new motor mounts? I think you should get NISMO ones before you get an engine torque damper.

It differs slightly from that now but basically the same... I made it up months ago, but never got around to finishing it to how I visioned it.

(tabs on the head mount side braced, cotter pins vs bolts for a 1 minute hot removal, and some other minor changes)

I have 85% of another one sitting next to me right now And one still in cut angles.
