Ok so I was looking around and I'm still debating whether I go KAT or S13 SR,

I just wanted to know what is the max that I can push the SR with stock internals (goal is 350HP)

If I got Sr I would go with a Top mount T04E 50 A/R38mm Waste gate.Intake mani upgradeEx mani, downpipe, dump tube, catback..Emance EcuZ32 MAFStage II cams

What size injectors? 550?

Whats a good Fuel rail?(there are lots and I don't know whats good.)

Do I really need a FPR?

What am I missing?

Sorry For the Noob Sr questions.

You of all people should know that I'm lazy!

I just really wanted to know at what horse power number should I start considering internals.

740cc injectors for 350-ish? That's overkill...

true, you only need that size if you are thinking you may want to creep up to 400 ish

It depends on the motor. Some would say 400, some would say 450...there are people who have done some builds near 500 with stock internals. It really depends on the motor itself. Most good motors will handle 400+ before you need internals. On the opposite end, if you get the wrong motor yours may not handle 300.

I tell people that they need to know what they want to do with the motor. If you are drifting, then build the internals, if you are dd'ing I wouldn't worry about it at 350-400. 400+ is where you start needing to consider it.

Thanks for the answer guys.I've been looking into the GT287 what ever the hell and I don't know if that's right for me I'm thinking its best for drifters, I'm no drifter.I'm looking for a turbo do DD and Do some highway runs for sh!ts and giggles. That's why I was looking at the T3Do you think its a good Idea or is it a little to much for what i plan on doing with it?

I'm just looking for a good daily that is capable of bringing home a good time slip.12's?

you dont need a 2871r to get 12's of course it will do the job, but With the right tune and combination of suspension/drivetrain parts you can get 12's with 300whp. You can drift on less than that as well. even the s15BBt28 is good enough for what you want. But the 2871r .64 is good for 350whp

526whp on stock internals except cams.....and it held for about a year until we sold the car....as far as we know its still running.

2871 will get 400 easily with the right upgrades....

my sig was a time when I had 338whp with a 2871......

12.8 was the best we got with the stock t25 at about 260ish whp

SR all the way...better gas mileage too!

The GT2871R .64 fits all that you want. I don't drift either and I like the GT2871R .64

DD- I liked my old HKS GT2530 better because of better spool up, but the GT2871R .64 is only about 500 rpm behind and has a better top end.

Highway runs- Hits full boost at about 4000 rpm and pulls strong all the way to redline. Plenty of topend power. Pushing 1 bar, I easily pulled on a Camaro Z28 on the freeway the other day.

1/4- As mentioned earlier, people are hitting 11's with this turbo. So 12's should be easy to achieve.
