i have heard that with a naturally asipirated build on a kade engine that you wont ever get past 180 or 200whp if you are lucky. does anyone know if that is entirely true and what do you think i will get with the following setup:

Blitz Nur Spec ExhaustOBX R HeadersBrian Crower 37.10mm Intake ValvesBrian Crower 31.80mm Exhaust ValvesBrian Crower Stage 2 CamshaftsBrian Crower Dual Valve Spring/Retainer KitEagle Connecting RodsUnorthodox Racing Ultra Street PulleysArias 10.6 Forged PistonsInjen Short Ram IntakeBored Out Stock Intake ManifoldValve JobPort and Polish

anyone with a good hp guess after tune or know anyone with a similar setup?

Why you asking us? Do the build and have it tuned on a dyno because you like to work on cars then tell us how it turns out.

See ya and god speed!

well im asking because i really want a lot more power than 200whp.......im wanting somewhere around the 250-300whp so if im not going to get anywhere near that much then ill probably just go for a turbo setup right out of the gate instead of going for a NA build

You won't get anywhere near 200whp na with out nos or some serious high compression tuning and building...even then it is iffy. Boost is better.

You won't get anymore than 200 to 230 on a fully tuned and built KA. There is a class of racing here in Ontario with fully built and tuned with lots of money into them and they can't come close to what you want. The KA is a clunky motor. The head doesn't flow very well even when its built. You would need to spray it or boost it to make that power. Even then the motors don't last long or rev very high.Hope this helps

FAIL!

I have an article with a 300 hp NA Ka24 with a 10000 rev limiter. The thing is though with the stock crank you wont make power over 5500/6000 rpms because the vibrations of the crankshaft will rob your torque. You really need a fully counterweighted crank to make big NA power. With a NA build its all about revs.

The ka24 is a clunky motor? Whats that even supposed to mean? We'v got a guy putting 29 pounds of boost on the stock block with that clunker lmao. The motor doesnt last long?!? Dude.. Its funny hearing what people who have no experience with the KA have to say about it. Its just assumed that the KA sucks because the SR is so popular.

The thing is, building NA is really expensive and you wont get the HP numbers that a turbo setup would get you for the same cash.

go with a RB it will make the power you want easily, and probally cheaper.
