I think errmmmm 350 to 380 is the safe territory before ur pistons start to go bad. I believe 450ish was about what the rods could handle. Its been a while since ive read anything about this so the numbers may be a bit off but shouldnt be by much.
The most horsepower ive seen on a KA was a KA-T on a S13 which layed down 638 whp. Thats not stock block though. Go to phatka-t.com and check it out...hes got vids n charts

Stock block engine:Pistons melt at 400.540 is when rodas go but they have been treated.untreated it's about 450. All this was done aem ems tuning so engine was running perfect no detonation. So with something that isn't as capable of tuning decrease max hp to be safe.
