Just wondering how much hp i am looking at possibly losing from running a muffler. I only plan on running about 14-15psi and plan on making around 300whp. I just wanted to know how much power i am looking at possibly losing from a muffler instead of running a straight pipe like i am now (too loud for me).

3"inlet with dual 2.5" outlets

I have a RS*R exhaust...basically the loudest/straightest exhaust made. I run a silencer during the week. They just slip into the end of the muffler and fasten with one bolt. Definitly easier then swapping the whole exhaust.

Summit Racing sells some universal ones as well.

i searched a little on the flowmaster 40 series and it seems that they only sound good on v8's so i will go with a good ole glass pack.

Glass packed are good for the first 3 months. After that they start to suck. After a year they really suck. Dont waste your money, get a normal trap door and you'll be happy.
