Im thinking about getting either a 92 240sx or a 98 sentra. Can someone tell me how much each car has in horsepower and torque. Thanks.

240sx has 155hp, and 160tq. The sentra has 140hp and 132tq.

I just searched by yahoo, just type in "sentra specs" or something like that. I think these numbers are correct.

Thats if the Sentra has a SR20DE engine. Most of them have GA16DE's which are completely gutless engines, good for MPG though.

If you don't have alot of money the SE-R can be made faster than the 240SX in n/a trim. This is simple weight vs. gearing vs. power. Plus the SE-R low port motors have simple upgrades like the high-port cam install that yeild excellent power benefits.

If you have steady income and want a true project then by all means get the 240SX. I have owned both and the 240 is far superior.

That makes some sense about the sentra. I have never been in a SE-R sentra but I have heard some good things. I would guess that with the proper mods you could have a mean autocross car.

I am also very partial to the good ole 240sx.
