Wsup nico!
So this time i'm looking to get more speed on my car.
So my friend says I need to change my flywheel to an aftermarket one, anyone have any advice for that?
And as for headers, there are the stillen ones but some people on the forum have talked about a cheaper ebay one, top speed brand. How has that worked for you guys?
Besides that, what else can i do?
Thank you!

I've heard you can also use the Sentra V-Spec aftermarket headers. Dont too sure what the difference is other than it being a lot cheaper.

Run headers first! i got the stillen ones and i love em. also if you run headers you gotta, gotta get an exhaust to really feel the coupe pull.

The sentra spec v headers will fit. There was a member on the "other" forum that had the dc sport headers put in the altima sedan with no issues.as far as gains I could only assume that its the same as the stillen header since it deletes the precat

Get the 151 or the wild turkey ready :spitout:
I ran stillen headers, stock exhaust= car pulled sluggishly. "Bottleneck" exhaust didnt allow for full "free flow".
Running headers and exhaust allowed for a semi "free flowing exhaust" (less restrictive with a bigger piping dia @ 2.5) with the exception of my stock cat .
Now while you may be skeptical of exhausts actually doing anything for your car but make noise, i on the other hand have to disagree.
While this just may be a placebo effect, my butt dyno seems to def feel the difference.
MY car DEF pulls harder as well as get better mpg.
Go easy on me its 7 a.m and just waking up :chuckle:

Irv, I thought you also had a BD tuner and pulley as well. IS this while you had the tuner on or before you added the tuner? Or am I a crack smokin hoobajoo?

I bought the ebay headers, that are the Sentra ones as well. They will work for the CVT but not the 6spd, the bottom flange on mine didn't line up :(!!!

This was before i got the tuner and pulley. felt the same afterwards too though.
Tuner isnt doing anything but sitting there. Havnt been able to tune my car since i got rear ended.
Just comparing the difference felt between running oem exhaust and aftermarket one (which was recently)

lol that was a great episode.

You're the first I heard about the tuner not doing anything. I know it doesn't add power but I thought you'd have felt a difference in throttle response or something. The only addition I'm missing is headers. I decided pulley won't do much for a 2.5 as it would for a 3.5, so I wont be getting that.

Does it just take one tank of premium gas for the computer to "acknowledge" that theres premium in there? Depending on the gas station i guess.
