1. get a FSM2. read FSM

or, unplug the TPS, adjust the idle screw until it idles at 700, then plug TPS back in.

The same question asked a different way, I can't see or find the idle adjustment screw, where is it located on the intake assembly?

from what I've read, the AAV valve or whatever controlls idle is around on the back of the intake manifold

I just went out and looked for it on my '93. it's attatched directly to the back of the intake mani. if you follow the main intake pipe from filter, maf, to the first hose that goes off into vacuum tube world, it goes under the intake runners, down and around to a like 2 inch piece of rubber tube to the AAV valve or whatever it is that controls idle. it's got a phillips (I think) screw for adjustment

ok, in n00b terms

look at your intake manifold, and there should be a steel wire connected to a spring loaded device, if youre engine is fired up, turn it a few times and your engine should roar, thats the throttle control. theres a screw on it preventing it for going too low.. thats the idle control. unscrew it a few degrees. rpm below 700 will stall easily.

figured this out while doing the SEAFOAM clean because my engine stalled out so i places a peice of paper under the screw to boost the idle.

That may work depending on your situation, but that is not technically the idle adjustment. The idle adjustment screw, as described above, connects to a valve system that changes with the engine condition and will attempt to keep your idle at the same place no matter what. This method will only trick the engine into thinking you are pressing down on the gas a little. But like I said above, it will probably work.

edit: this probably won't work very well to lower the idle, once there is slack in the cable it can't go any lower

my idle is pretty high, so doing this to adjust it may just do the trick
