ive got an 06 spec v as well, only things ive heard about them is the problems of the qr25de engine itself.
There's the issue with the butterfly screws, which are in the secondary intake runner. They're part of an assembly that rotates to open up the runners at a specific rpm (5000 i believe). Nissan didn't do such a good job on the first ones they put out, i've heard lots of 02-03's have this problem. the screw itself becomes loose and gets sucked into the engine. Supposely it was fixed in the newer models with a new screw design. As a safety precaution, people actually take this out and loctite the screws, to make sure they don't get sucked in.
Another problem is the pre-cat located in the stock exhaust manifold. There have been issues of the pre-cat actually breaking down over time causing tiny pieces of the cat itself to be sucked back into the combustion chamber, which can damage the rings and/or cylinder walls. Most other owners i know of fix this by installing a aftermarket exhaust header. However, you will throw a check engine light, so you must also get a "ghetto sim" which fakes one of the O2 sensors reading to prevent a CEL.
A friend i met has a brother and another friend who had difficulties with the transmission itself. Both of these were 04+. The transmissions were replaced under warranty.
I've heard, but im not sure of a problem with the stock fuel pump going out. Not sure if it is the Spec V, all b15 sentra models or just the 1.8's.
The only problems ive had so far is the rear brakes squeal a little when I back up, normally like from a parking place. It's slowly gone away though. Also, i've never had a fwd with this much torque and such an awesome differential. Under hard acceleration, it will "torque steer" aka pull to one side. To fix this a fellow B15 owner created a underbrace called a "jimmy bar", it connects at 2 or 4 places, depending on which you get, underneath the subframe and ties everything together a bit more. You can find them either on the vboard or b15sentra.net. Another good idea would be to get some motor mount inserts (MMI's), these too will help to lessen that.
sorry i'm a bit late on this info for you hope it helps answer any questions you still have
