How you took to do your KA24E to KA24DE swap? were you a newb or semi pro?

How much technical experience did you have? I turn my own wrenches but this would be my first swap.

I might be getting a complete donor car (hoping the cluster is still there) but the engine bay and ecu/wiring harness is intact.

I have a 90, the car I'm going to look at is a 91-94 but no transmission.

If I decide to get it, I'd probably hold off till spring to do the swap since I drive this car daily.
