I was just thinking about the two different ways people run their Intercooler piping using the stock Manifolds on the RB20/25. Is there any advantages for running the hot/cold side one way or the other. For example I have my hot side going around the front of the engine and down on the passenger side to the intercooler, then the cold side up on the driver side into the intake manifold. I've seen lots of people run it the other way with the hot side down on the driver side to the intercooler and the cold side up around the front of the engine.

My setup

I like your setup because it eliminates having 2 hot sides - smart. But I still dont like the idea of having your piping going over your covers on the top and having it between your engine and radiator.

or go with an intercooler like this:

but i like your setup as compared to those hybrid ones. id rather have the cold pipe not baking near the radiator

I kno how you feel because I was at that stage and still kinda but applying for a new credit card with 0% for 12 months did the trick for my new custom intake manifold
