Package it up. Set it on the porch

UPS will pick it up from your house/etc for free. Call 1-800-PICKUPS and schedule a pickup. (You can also fill out the paperwork online, http://www.ups.com)

They will ask the to/from, dimensions, and weight (you can ... bend the truth). The most they will ship is 150pounds... Somehow my 220pound transmission miraculously made it though, I think there was an "error" stating it was 120pounds.

I'd also consider http://www.forwardair.com

Much cheaper than UPS, but you have to take it to the distribution center near you.

I've never heard of forward air hitman. Have you ever shipped anything through them?

My roommate shipped a dirtbike to Louisana from Washington, the buyer paid the shipping but it was only line 100$ or something.

Really cheap and they even provided the crate for shipping. Only downside is that you have to drive to them and they can be a ways away. We had to drive an hour and a half. in traffic.:ylsuper
