So for the last couple days I've had a weird problem with my car stalling or cutting out for a second every so often..
One time I managed to get a check engine light, and I checked the codes and I got the code for the engine coolant temp sensor...
I first noticed this when i took my ECU out to change the program and my car started acting funny... When I would wiggle the ECU it would cut out, sometimes stalling..
I verified this with my multimeter... When i wiggle the ground is definitely really iffy...
Anyway, after some digging this afternoon there is a B/Y wire which i believe is the ground for the coolant temp sensor. Refer to page EF-EC 89 of the 1994 Q45 FSM... Anyway, its a single wire going from the ECU harness and then splits into 3 wires, all B/Y.. In the wiring diagram, it shows it splitting in 2, not sure where the 3rd goes?
Heres my question.. I could obviously run a jumper wire from this and ground it, no biggie.. Would you guys do this, or would you take some other attack?
