Would a Custom Trunk only be Manual?

SO I was wanting to get the AIT trunk here: http://www.aitracing.com/index.php?main ... ts_id=1917 and just realized, how does it lock and unlock, will it work with the remote control to unlock by pressing the button on the remote? What about the button by the license plate on the default trunk that you press to open it, like will it all just be a manual key instead, Or will it be exactly as functional as the default standard trunk?

That piece that is above the license plate stays the same (you keep yours), so I would assume the electronics still work. I'm not sure how the electrical works through the trunk though.

Loop is one of the members on here that has had one of the aftermarket trunks you can ask him.

I was fully sponsored by AIT for that trunk and yes, it fits and works just like OEM. It has all of the indentations for where to drill the holes for the weather stripping and such as well as the back up cam which you will need to cut out.

Okay Thanks. Although mine does not have a back up camera So I guess I can just leave that part "uncut" out.

Yep, it would actually look great, although get the carbon fiber hood as well.
