It's been done should be fine, but you are clearly at the limit there!!

The rears are 10.5's sporting 275's and again there's no rubbing....yet. The tires are completely flush with the fender. Gives it the widest most aggressive stance possible. The problem will be once it's lowered. I don't think an inch will hurt, and if anything the added negative camber will help. Fender trimming will be mandatory if I plan to attempt to tuck these bad boys at all. I'd say the 10.5's with a 255 would be ideal as it would stretch the tire into the wheel well.
