I have a stock 91 240 sx not lowered or anything. I did some research on how wide I can get my tires but nothing showed up except ones where I have to roll my fender. so what im asking is how wide of a tire size can fit my 240 without any modifications? thanks guys.

I've seen 215s on stock wheels.

I put 225/50r60s on 16x7.5 +20. Tire just barely cleared the shock and I needed a fender roll and pull on the front. The rears needed a roll and pull as well. I was also lowered, so I don't know if your fender will cut into the tire at all.

My next set of wheels were 245/45r16s on 16x8.5 +37 (5mm spacer on front). Those pretty much fit exactly the same. Also keep in mind that different tire manufacturers develop their tires sidewalls differently (i.e. rim protecting lips). To be on the safe side, I wouldn't go any higher than 225 or even 215 without a roll or pull.
