The closest size to stock in a 205 width is a 205/60-15. It's only .9% larger a 205/55 is 2.7% smaller. I didn't even look at 205/50 for obvious reasons. Whether or not a 205 will work on a 5.5" rim is entirely dependent on the brand of tire. Some manufacturers will say it's okay and others will say you need at least a 6" rim. 205 is stretching the limits of a 5.5" rim I wouldn't even consider a 215
I'll be buying 205/60r15 Pirelli P4 Four Seasons here in the next couple of weeks. I let you know how they turn out.
