It's not bad. First, remove the radio/vent trim. There are no screws, just spring brackets. Use a screwdriver wrapped in a towel or something else that won't cause scratches to pry it away. Once it has popped out, you'll see two screws for the clock cover, one on either side of the clock above where the vents used to be. Unscrew them and lift the clock cover...remember there's a power connector running to it so don't go crazy yanking it away before you disconnect it.Once that's off, you'll be able to remove the lamp. I believe it's just inserted into the back of the clock housing, twist it to unlock it, then pull it out. I'm not sure what type of lamp it uses, though.
