Hi, I've read about the power and hold modes for the auto transmission 240sx and even got my hands on a power+hold switch - looks like this:

Does anyone know how to wire it? I looked through the FSM and can't find it yet.

Thanks,Quoc-Viet

Where did you get that? I have wondered about this myself. I would love to find out how this is wired.

That one is from an auction on ebay - think one is going on right now (look for 240sx bezel).

These are the JDM clusters.

I already have one, I just have to figure out how to use it, hahahhaha, I bought it for another button on there and just realized I had this button to. I want POWER MODE! :).

No no noooo... its not the same thing. The 'power' switch electronically manipulates the transmission into delaying shift points until a higher rpm, and makes it downshift sooner when accelerating from cruise. At least thats what it does in my Toyota. Makes a noticeable difference.

I would REALLY like to know how/if it can be done to A-spec 240's. My speed sensor is too high so my transmission already shifts too soon and really needs to be hit hard to downshift, and I dont really want to part with the $90 the local speedo shop wants to recalibrate it and put a new gear on it, so this would help a lot.
