Use? You set the temp to whatever you want it to be and the car warms or cools to that temp.

I'm guessing there's more to the question, yes?

Press the "A/C" button?Set the temp you want.....

Make sure the system is charged with refrigerant.....(If you ask how to check that.... then all I can say is.... take it to a shop and get the system recharged/checked by a technician)

There are 13 blue and purple polka dot pattern 9mm bolts hidden throughout the car.

When you find them all, replace each one with a gold-tipped bolt, and torque them to 85.6 lb/ft, your a/c will turn on.

hehehe, sorry, had to do it. Good luck with it!

No youll have to replace your muffler bearings and do a full blinker fluid flush!

Seriously, I think your AC is broken.

Wes, don't you know a way to force the temp setting lower? I seem to recall you found some combination of button pushing.

I'll push your buttons alright...

Yeah, however when you put it on 65 it is on MAX AC. So theres no point in changing it any lower because it doesnt do anything for anything above that.. 65 is as low as it goes.

The only reason they put that feature on there is for dealerships when people would complain about the AC not being cold enough but there was nothing wrong with it. they would just crank it down so the computer would try and keep it at 65F when you had it at 70 (or however many degrees you wanted, up to +/- 5F)... I wonder how many dealers actually used that, its a very clever trick and I compliment Infiniti for putting it on, its a genious trick for warranty concerns, 5 mins and BAM your ice cold when its set at 70.

In the real world, all you have to do is turn it down a few degrees, but once you get it down to 65 thats the bottom of the barrel.

For the sake of answering the question, heres how you do it (this works on y33s too)

Turn ignition to ON, press and hold OFF until the display lights up everything. Press warmer a few times until it says 51 on the display. ONce you get to that, press the FAN UP button, and then it will bring up a little display, that you can then use the warmer or colder controls to adjust the trim.
