how to upgrade cam and compression?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

where can I go to get an upgraded cam, should I get different rocker ratios? I can't find any sites on the net for the ka24e motor. Also, to bump compression can I deck the head and block or should I replace pistons (I already have a new stock set that I don;t want to waste). What tolerance can I take from the head/block?
