Yay i can finally post because i finally got a 240!! So i got a 89 240sx Hatch that i bought for cheap of some junkyard guy. Anyways the car is lowered but i think it's too low. I can barely turn the wheel before it starts scrapring against the side. I was thinking about taking off the lowering springs (im guessin he used springs since i think its the cheapest lowering method) and putting in some springs that were the stock height. What springs should i use for that? I just want a good daily driver for now. Maybe 6 months down the road ill install an lsd and practice drifting but for now i just want a nice 240 for my daily commute. Thanks everyone i envy all of you.

o yea i forgot about cutting the springs. That is probably what he did cause i'm certain he used the cheapest method. So if i want to get up a bit should i just take them off and put stock ones? Also, does anyone know where i could get stock ones? Or what are some good springs that only lower the car by an inch or less? Cause this one seems like almost a 2 inch drop from stock.

TEIN S-TECH Springs lower it about 1.2 in the back, and 0.8 in the front (it might be the other way around). the ride is really soft during cruising and these are affordable springs.

if you plan on getting stock springs (or aftermarket), try looking for a used set that already has them installed with the shock so its plug and play for you. unless you have access to a spring compressor, that works as well. u can use the hook type compressors from autozone (they hook each coil).
