How to test Power Transistor Unit

Does anybody know how I can perform a test on the Power Transitor Unit/Ignition Module? I'd hate to drop $120 if mines not bad.

Put the multimeter in "diode" test mode. Measure from pin 1 (input) to pin 1 (output). You should see a reading of 600-900 and when you flip-flop the leads, you should read infinite or very high resistance, like a diode.

Repeat the process on pins 2-6 on the input and output side for the rest of the cylinders.
