nothing past 2k, it's your mafs. why exactly you've got two mafs setup on your car is questionable unless you've a twin turbo setup which is rather rare for the SR.

car wont revpast 1800-2000rpm.been told over and over its my mafs.i have two mafs both are for this vehicle, tried both with same results.i need to know how to test these mafs to be sure they work.another problem im having is my scanner cannot communicate with the vehicle computer through the obdII port.the wiring was done by yuri as wiring specialties.another thing i noticed was my reverse lights do not work.im assuming they are supposed to work(sarcasm)there is a small plug over by my ecu that looks like it runs to the back of the vehicle,it is attached to the same spot as the secondary plug on the main ecu harness in the kick panel but nothing is plugged into it.well as you san read i have a few minor problems and one major problem sooo.any ideas?

reverse plug is at your transmission harness, not the ecu harness that the guys at wiring specialties will do.

Your mafs not working, check to make sure you've first got continuity across the harness to the mafs. Next make sure the plugs are actually making contact with the mafs, it might be a good idea at this point to make sure you don't have alot of gunk on the plugs that will screw up the connection between the plug and the mafs. post back what you get.

do you have anything else sitting between the mafs and the ecu like perhaps an afc?

I would double check that the wiring for the maf was done correctly. There are only 3 wires so it shouldn't be that hard to figure out. I would also check to make sure that your turbo lines are secured properly. I know a big boost leak will make the car run poorly and it might seem like a bad maf. Check your intercooler and you hot/cold pipes and connections. Check your throttle possition sensor too. Disconnect it and see if it helps. Try and disconnect your maf and see how high the rpms go. Did they upgrade injectors or anything? was it supposed to be tuned?
